Corporate orders move differently
A team knows in January where it will be in July. A company does not. Offices move, events get relocated, and the person who placed the order is rarely the person who receives it.
This one came in through the quote form as a 500-piece corporate job. A week after the order was placed, the delivery address changed — and the customer flagged it twice, in capitals, because they knew what late address changes usually cost.
It did not cost anything
The change landed while the pins were in production but before they shipped. Updating a destination at that point is a paperwork problem, not a manufacturing one. Nothing was reopened, nothing was remade, and the order went out on time.
The reason it was absorbed cleanly is that it arrived before dispatch. The same message a few days later would have meant a redirect in transit, which is a different and more expensive conversation.
A note on what this page does not say
There is a second address in this thread, in China. It belongs to a supplier, not to this customer — the same address appears in an unrelated softball order — and it is recorded on this project only as something never to mistake for a delivery location.
It is the kind of detail that would quietly put a dot in the wrong place on a map of where our work goes, and it is flagged in the record so that it cannot.

The banner threshold
This order sat under the threshold, so no banner was included. At the time the line fell at 1,000 pins at 2.0 inches or larger: the size step cost $0.20 more per pin — $1.07 to $1.27 — and brought a free 3ft × 6ft banner plus 100 bonus gold-metal or blackout pins with it.
Worth checking before you commit to a quantity: the bigger pin is frequently the cheaper total order.

Quantity and size move it most: the break runs about $0.20 per pin for every hundred pins, and the range here goes from a 1,500-pin corporate run at 1.25 inch to a 3 inch dangler with glitter. Pin type and finish are priced per pin on top of that — a spinner was $0.65 more per pin on one order, glitter is $0.10 per pin per glitter colour.
