Completed hockey trading-pin orders, documented from the order thread up: what was asked for, how many proof rounds it took and what shipped.
Hanover · MA · South Shore · club · hockey
A returning customer who couldn't name the style he wanted, whose final design was reverse-engineered from a decade-old pin someone dug out of a drawer at the rink.
Baxter · MN · Brainerd Lakes · association · hockey
An entire association covered by one order — 1,500 pins on a single invoice, with a rush that TPC had to chase the factory to protect.
Pennsville · NJ · South Jersey · hockey
A South Jersey 12AA team on a hard January deadline — routed by freight forward specifically to avoid the tariff.
Chaska · MN · hockey
Three teams from one Minnesota association, three separate orders, two different families — and a puzzle-piece pin set that had to be re-engineered so it would survive production.
Westerville · OH · Columbus metro · hockey
A 1.5-inch order — below the 2-inch trading floor TPC normally recommends — and the smallest pin in the sample.
· hockey
The customer set a budget in her first message, and the glitter came off the pin to keep it.
Mahopac · NY · Hudson Valley · hockey
A customer who arrived with finished artwork and declined every suggestion to improve it.
Needham · MA · Greater Boston · hockey
A hockey team heading to Lake Placid wanted the town's name on the pin — and said so on the first design round, which is why the artwork went through four versions in six days.
Blue Bell · PA · hockey
Seventeen player numbers, seventeen variations, one order.
MN · hockey
"If you could do them at $2.05, I'd go with that. Otherwise, let's do the 2-inch."
· hockey
A squirt-level team that asked for a range and ordered at the bottom of it.
Hutchinson · MN · hockey
Two girls' teams, two designs, one purchase order — and a better rate than either would have got alone.
Massena · NY · hockey
The supplier talked them into the more expensive size, for a reason that had nothing to do with money.
MN · hockey
A Minnesota hockey association that wanted its state on the pin.
NJ · hockey
Fifty pins to a hundred took the price from $5.50 to $3.50 — the steepest break in the library.
Keene · NH · hockey
A thousand pins at seventy-nine cents — the cheapest pin in the library, and a club board signed it off.
· hockey
"Is it possible to order an off number of 320 pins?" Yes — and the reason the deadline was tight had nothing to do with the team.
DeWitt · MI · hockey
The size ladder is not a straight line — and a wrong-size artwork was caught before the mould was cut.
Marblehead · MA · hockey
Specified at 250, ordered at 350 — the right way round.
Pasadena · MD · hockey
Fewer, bigger — 125 pins at two and a quarter inches.
Massena · NY · hockey
Fifty pins cost $4.45 each. A hundred cost $2.78. The pins did not change.
Minneapolis · MN · hockey
The cherry spins. It is the Spoonbridge, and it is the best-argued spinner in the library.
Philadelphia · PA · Delaware Valley · 13U AA · hockey
The team that let its 13-year-olds vote on the final artwork — and turned down a spinner upgrade to put every player's number on the pin instead.
West St. Paul · MN · hockey
A team that asked for a scoreboard on their pin, changed their minds several times, and apologised for it — unnecessarily.
· hockey
Seventy-five pins at three inches, headed for Ottawa — and the happiest customer in the archive.
